Sportstarz aims to get kids off the DS and outside enjoying sports, activities and making new friends. Duo Michael Trotter and Gareth Coombes run sports session for all ages – preschool, junior, teens as well as adults classes – during term time and also run a popular holiday club. The sports include tennis and dodgeball as well as preschool football.
Because that apparently doesn’t keep them busy enough, they also run traditional, multi-sports as well as themed parties such as army and pirate parties for children at the weekends.
Both Gareth and Michael have experience running clubs with children locally and Michael has spent a few seasons with Camp America, which he uses to inspire some of the activities.
