Our focus is on working with retailers and businesses that offer products and services for the entire family market and so anyone can benefit from the Community Club membership.
The IslandFamilies Community Club is an annual membership service. There are many benefits to becoming a member including getting access to 100+ exclusive offers, priority bookings on tickets and events and a voucher book of exclusive discounts. You can sign up anytime during the year for that calendar year and start enjoying member offers and benefits as soon as you receive your membership pack.
When you sign up for a recurring membership subscription service with PayPal, you set-up an account so that your membership is renewed automatically at the end of each year for the year ahead. The cost of your membership is locked at the time of joining so that you don’t have to pay any increase in membership fees, if they happen. For example, if you sign up on the £40 recurring fee, you will always pay £40 every year after. You are always in charge of your membership, which you can cancel anytime. A pay-as-you-go membership is a one-off payment for that calendar year’s membership.
You will need to have a PayPal account linked to your debit/credit card to set up a recurring subscription with us. If you (or your partner) don’t already have a PayPal account, you can set it up during the sign-up process with IslandFamilies which then takes you to PayPal.com to complete the account setting-up steps. You can cancel the subscription any time or we can refund your payment within one week of your annual charge.
Yes, absolutely. You can use our pay-as-you-go membership option, so you need to remember to sign up to a membership each year. You will still need to pay via your PayPal account. Please note that the pay-as-you-go membership is slightly more expensive than the recurring membership subscription.
The IslandFamilies Community Club gives you access to a wide variety of discounts, special promotions and access to priority bookings for events and tickets. Many of our Business Partners offer a % discount off full priced goods whilst others offer freebies or money off deals. Some retailers offer special one-off discounts during holidays or various seasons, whilst other retailers have special discounts during less busy times of their operation. The IslandFamilies team is committed to provide you with more offers and discounts throughout the year and we will work hard to secure these for you.
The IslandFamilies Community Club membership comes in two sizes – a credit card and a key fob size so you can share them in your family unit. Membership is not designed to be shared outside of your household.
We encourage our customer to sign up to PayPal. However, if you don’t want to do so we can accept bank payments.

Membership packs are posted out within 3-5 working days.
All memberships expire at the end of the calendar year on 31 December.
If you lose or misplace your card, please email us outlining what happened and include your name, email and postcode. Replacement cards cost £12.
It is very much up to you how much you can save. If you are a frequent user and take advantage of the numerous promotions the participating retailers offer, you can save hundreds of pounds every year. A lot of our customers say the card paid for itself within a few weeks.

Some retailers, especially those with parent companies off island, have complex approval policies or set marketing strategies which don’t allow them to offer special deals in specific jurisdictions. They would often only be able to do deals that affect all of their retail stores where they operate.
Some retailers follow an ‘everyday low price’ strategy and simply don’t offer any discounts to anyone outside of their own ad-hoc promotions.
We have spoken to many of the local retailers and will continue talking to them to find ways of working together to deliver great promotions, deals and offers for our members. To help us in our mission, please do keep asking those retailers that don’t currently have offers with IslandFamilies that they should sign up.
Yes, we can. We have the option for you to purchase the membership as a gift by buying a gift voucher and can ship the gift to you or your friend. Please go to islandfamilies.com/gift.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver the membership in a gift wrap but we do deliver it wrapped in an extra envelope, so the membership pack comes intact.

No, the membership can only be purchased online at islandfamilies.com. The main reason is that we need to capture your personal details in a way that we can abide by Data Protection Laws and also keep you informed about any news and new offers that might launch.
Islandfamilies.com does not actually handle any payments. These are done through secure, and PCI compliant payment gateway called PayPal. Once you fill in our order form, you’re then redirected to the PayPal site to make your payment.
IslandFamilies does not store any credit or debit card details.
PayPal is an online payments and money transfer solution that makes it very easy to accept payments for small online business like Islandmfamilies.com. PayPal is owned by eBay and is the largest and most established online payments solution globally. Once you submit your order for the IslandFamilies Community Club membership, you will be redirected to the PayPal payment page where you can either pay with your debit or credit card or you can pay by simply entering the email connected to your PayPal details and pay with your email. Millions of e-commerce websites use PayPal as its payment solution.
We are really sorry to hear about this. Please email us your details, when you ordered the card and how you made the payment. If you don’t remember the details exactly, write what you remember. We will try to resolve it as a priority. Do notice through that it takes 3-5 business days for membership packs to be sent and cards do go missing in the post occasionally.
You can cancel your recurring membership at any time before the renewal date. You will continue to get membership benefits until your current Community Club membership expires on 31 December of that year. We suggest cancelling as soon as you decide to avoid being charged. If you change your mind once payment has been taken, you have seven days in order to cancel that recurring membership and receive a refund. To cancel your recurring membership:

Our Facebook page is reserved for publishing relevant information by IslandFamilies including deals and offers from our Business Partners.
