Oaty & Joey’s Playbarn

Oaty & Joey’s Playbarn, based at Oatlands Village, is one of the largest soft play areas in the UK and the biggest in the Channel Islands – it’s all about fun, family, friends, laughter and exercise. Boasting six slides, including a giant astra slide, crawling pipes, ball movers and cannons, ball pits and obstacles galore, there are also separate areas for babies and toddlers.

Additional attractions include trampolines, mini-golf, crazy-golf, e-cars on a mini racetrack and a four-lane 10-pin bowling alley.

Oaty and Joey’s offers a wide variety of different themed birthday parties as well as catering for larger group and private events for children and adults alike. Oaty’s Diner is open all day serving breakfast, lunch and early dinner offering a variety of meals from their a la carte menu prepared in their 5-star rated kitchen.

So, who are the characters behind Oaty & Joey’s? Oaty is a fun-loving, kind character, based on one of the 130-year-old Oatlands kilns. He is very knowledgeable, particularly about bygone Guernsey and children love to learn from him. Meanwhile Joey is the much-loved iconic Aurigny Trislander, who flew between the Channel Islands, England, and France for over 40 years, covering some two million miles.
