With 20 films showing over the 10 days – including a daily family-friendly film at 5pm, followed by a film for adults at 7pm – there will be something for all ages and tastes, from action and adventure to romantic comedies.
Screenings will take place on the top lawn of Castle Cornet, where film goers can enjoy beautiful views of St Peter Port.
Café Maeva, located inside the castle, will be open every day until 7pm for drinks and snacks. There will also be an ice-cream bike in the middle yard from 4.30pm-7pm, where film goers can purchase Guernsey ice cream and award-winning Italian gelatos. Ticket holders can also bring picnics to enjoy in the grounds.
Tickets are priced at £6 per film and are on sale now from www.guernseytickets.gg.
All tickets must be pre-purchased and are not available on the gate. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Ticket holders are advised to bring rugs to sit on, as well as plenty of warm clothing for the later showings. Chairs can be brought into the castle, but they must be placed at the back of the lawn to ensure everyone has a good view.
Gates will open 30 minutes before the start of the film. Some of the 5pm screenings will run until 6.45pm, so attendees to the 7pm showing should allow people to leave the 5pm screening before heading up to the lawn for the next film.
