
Join us for a family-friendly Liberation event at the Folk & Costume Museum!
What to Expect:
GMMC in Costume – Guernsey Military Motors and Cycles will visit the museum courtyard, showcasing their vintage vehicles and cycles in period dress. A fantastic chance to see these classic machines up close!
Children’s activities – Fun for the little ones, including pin the tail on the donkey, face painting, paper plane making, colouring sheets, souvenir badge-making to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Liberation.
Tea & cake stand – enjoy a taste of local tradition with tea and gâche, and senners doughnuts – a visitor favourite.
Explore the museum – open from 10am-5pm (last entry 4:15pm). Free entry all day!
Museum shop – browse gifts and souvenirs (please note: no artist exhibition this weekend).
