Soroptimist International Guernsey is celebrating World Book Day with a major children’s book giveaway
Members of Soroptimist International Guernsey will visit Bright Beginnings Children’s Centre to gift books to nursery and pre‑school children, helping to spark a love of reading from the earliest years.
The celebrations continue on Saturday 7 March, when Soroptimist International Guernsey will host its Big Book Giveaway at the St Peter Port Constable’s Office. Families are invited to drop in, browse, and choose from over 1,000 children’s books, all in good condition and suitable for ages 0-18. Every child attending will be able to select a book to take home and keep completely free of charge.
The collection includes picture books, early readers, chapter books, and young adult titles, ensuring that children of all ages and interests can find something that inspires them.
