DESCRIPTION:Join the National Trust of Guernsey’s heritage spinners on the Courtyard at the Folk and Costume Museum for a series of relaxed\, hands-on demonstrations throughout 2026. \nWhether you’re curious about taking up a new hobby\, eager to learn a traditional skill\, or simply enjoy watching craftspeople at work\, these mornings offer a wonderful glimpse into the island’s textile heritage — all set within our beautiful museum surroundings. \nDemonstrations take place on Thursdays\, 10am–12pm on the following dates:\n16 April\, 28 May\, 18 June\, 16 July & 17 September \nIf the weather is unfavourable\, the demonstrations will move indoors so you can still enjoy the experience in comfort. Everyone is welcome – these events are free and the courtyard is access-friendly. \nCome along\, discover something new\, and enjoy the gentle rhythm of a timeless craft\, with always a warm welcome.
